We are fast approaching the mid-point of my first term serving as an East Gwillimbury Councillor, and I’m proud to report that I have taken several steps to improve communication with you effectively, as well as with the Town and residents.  I identified this as an important campaign platform, as all successful outcomes begin with excellent communication. Currently, I’m delivering regular newsletters both in print & digital form. In addition, I have organized “CoffeeTime with Councillors” locally in Ward 3, bringing in special guest speakers, most recently, on the topic of Community Safety. I regularly meet with residents in person to discuss issues and facilitate prompt attention to concerns and requests from Town staff.  At every opportunity during Council meetings, I advocate with the Town’s communications department to continue to find creative ways to connect with as many residents as possible about the issues that matter to you.
